About me

I live and work along the coast of sunny California. Most of my art is mixed media, blending different mediums, pastels, charcoal, acrylic, oils, as of lately, digital. I can’t seem to resist laying down a strong line or brush stroke. I am turned off by too much detail and enjoy painting a story of the human condition. My motivation comes from everyday life, friends and family that possess a certain something or connection that I want to further explore. I have been moved by so many artists but my method of expression and technique feels most natural to me.

My mother, being a lover of life, played a key role in my obsession. She has always been my true inspiration, and work of art. Our home, always filled with her musician and artist friends was an eclectic and inviting place to live. This and many other bohemian experiences had a major impact on me.
